From your content to cited answers.
Threada reads your website, indexes it for retrieval, and answers visitor questions—with a link to the source.
Crawl
Give Threada your URL or sitemap. It crawls your pages, respecting robots.txt and rate limits.
- Pages and posts
- FAQs and documentation
- Structured data (schema.org)
- PDFs and documents you upload
For JavaScript-heavy sites, pages are rendered before extraction.
Index
Content is chunked semantically and stored for retrieval. When a visitor asks a question, Threada finds the most relevant passages by meaning—not keywords.
This is retrieval-augmented generation. Responses are built from your content, not generated from training data.
Answer
When Threada finds relevant content, it constructs a response and includes a citation linking to the source page. Visitors can click through to verify.
When the answer isn’t there, Threada acknowledges it. It asks clarifying questions and suggests related topics. No fabrication.
Stay fresh
Threada monitors your sitemap. When you publish or update content, re-indexing is triggered automatically on a regular schedule.
You can also re-index manually or set a custom schedule.
